When Trump tweets: Trump’s tweets on ‘food stamps’ are ‘stupid’

The New York Times is reporting that President Trump is now using Twitter to lash out at “fools” who think that the government “supports” food stamps.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

However, Trump tweeted on Sunday that he is not happy with the “stupid” notion that the federal government is providing food to the poor.

“The stupid welfare program people talk about is the food stamps,” Trump tweeted.

“Food stamps are NOT food!

They are not food, they are a Ponzi scheme.”

On Thursday, Trump accused food stamp recipients of not paying taxes and of being dishonest.

“Welfare recipients are getting more than half of their benefits from the Federal government, but they are not paying their fair share,” Trump said.

“If people aren’t paying their taxes they should be able to take advantage of their programs, but we have to be honest.

The food stamps are a huge Ponzii scheme, and they should not be taken advantage of.”
