It is rumoured that Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain is to play in Serie A next season after signing a three-year deal with the Italian Football Association.
Sources in Italy say that Higuillas move has been made in conjunction with Juventus owner Silvio Berlusconi, and that the 24-year-old forward has agreed to play under the Italian association’s administration next season.
The move has reportedly seen him play for the Serie A club for three years and, when his contract expires in 2018, the move would bring him to the elite level of the Italian game.
The news of Higuilles signing comes just two weeks after he completed his move to Turin.
A club source said the move was a “realisation of Higutias ambition”, adding: “He knows his time in Turin is over.
It’s a great move for Juventus.”
Juventus’ next campaign is scheduled to start on March 14.
