NEW YORK — Brandon Bole’s return to the Minnesota Vikings is coming, but it won’t be a battle with the Bills, sources told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
Boles has yet to return to training camp, but Rapoports report he was told by the team’s medical staff on Monday that he’ll be back for the start of the regular season.
Bole missed the first six games of the season with a torn Achilles, and has yet have a practice.
He had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder last season, but that injury didn’t fully heal in time for the season opener.
The Bills will begin the season without him after a 4-12 start.BOLES, 29, is on the roster to replace Brian Orakpo on the offensive line, a move that would have to be approved by the NFLPA.
Boles has appeared in all 12 games for the Vikings this season.
